Beathe Stangeland Eide

Beathe works at Shnel & Melnychuck & Forsman & Bodenfors (SMFB), creativity driven independent agency based in Oslo. Beathe also has a background from Media Agencies, spending a total of 15 years in the media industry – last as a Media Director in MediaCom Norway. She has also published several articles and co-authored a book about out-of-home media, been a speaker at conferences, involved in the industry education course (National Institute for Advertising), won several national and international awards, and is a former board chairman of Mediaforum (National organization for the media industry including media agencies).

Beathe has received many awards for her works, including Gold Media Lion in Cannes and Gold at Global Festival of Media. In 2012 she also received the Mediaforum Honorary Award, this is the Norwegian media industry’s highest-ranking award.

During the speaking session, Beathe Stangeland Eide will cover the following topics:

Remy started his career in advertising by being an art director at JWT Amsterdam. After being named ‘Young Talent of the Year’ by the VEA (Dutch Association of Advertising) he moved to JWT International.After that Remy switched JWT for a position at BSUR-HQ Amsterdam in 2008 where he worked on the MINI campaign. In 2008 Remy was also selected to represent The Netherlands at the ‘Cannes Lions Roger Hatchuel Academy’.After 5 years he moved to creative agency XXS Amsterdam where he currently holds the position of Executive Creative Director. Agency’s clients include Schweppes, Tele2, HEMA, Mercedes-Benz, etc.

Björn has been in advertising for 20 years. Eleven of those working for Lowe, in Stockholm and in London. During a few of these years him and a partner started a second Lowe agency and creatively it quickly became one of the best in the network. The last 9 years he has been the ECD/CCO and a member of the board of INGO – an agency created by a world unique merger between Grey and Ogilvy. The agency have creatively gone from practically nowhere to currently being ranked among the best in the country and it won international acclaim. He has been a juror of many prominent award shows. He has won more than 60 awards in the forms of Lions, Pencils, Eggs and other indefinable but desirable shapes, as a creative as well as an ECD during three decades.

In 2004, after eight years as Creative Director at Duval Guillaume, Jens Mortier founded the independent agency mortierbrigade along with three partners in crime.

They work for Deutsche Bank, Mobistar Telecom, The National Lottery, Radiostation Studio Brussels, De Standaard Newspaper, and many others.

mortierbrigade has won about 25 Lions, including Titanium, and 30 Eurobest Awards, including three Grands Prix. They were also number nine in the rankings for Independent Agency of the Year at Cannes Lions 2013.

Jens is also President of the Creative Club of Belgium.

Sune Kaae is a maker, developer and leader. He has led the development of a number of landmark products and services, including the Nike+ FuelBand iPhone app, the Nike+ GPS/Running product and location-based services for the Nike+ SportWatch.

An industry pro for more than 15 years, he has worked in Stockholm, New York, London and Copenhagen, creating award-winning work for such clients as Nike, Intel, MSN/Microsoft and Nikon. He is active in the maker and start-up community, focusing on physical computing and 3D printing. Sune holds a BSc in computer science from UCL and certifications from PMI, Scrum Alliance and Microsoft.
